DJ Format, real name Matt Ford, is a hip hop DJ and producer from Southampton. He frequently collaborates with Abdominal, real name Andy Bernstein, a rapper from Ontario, Canada.
The pair first collaborated on DJ Format’s debut album, ‘Music for the Mature B-Boy’, which was released in 2003. Abdominal also appeared on DJ Format’s second release, ‘If You Can't Join 'Em... Beat 'Em’, released in 2005. The duo reunited for DJ Format’s fifth album, ‘Still Hungry’, in 2017. DJ Format and Abdominal have announced UK and Ireland shows for autumn in support of Still Hungry.
