DJ Shadow—real name Joshua Davis—is a music producer and DJ from San Jose, California.
Widely regarded as an expert turntablist, his use of synthesisers, samplers and keyboards to make some of the genre’s most revolutionary beats has earned him reputation as one of the most influential figures in hip hop instrumentals. Starting his music career in 1989, he released his debut album ‘Endtroducing.....’ in 1996. Since then, he has added six more studio records to his discography – the latest being 2023's 'Action Adventure'. DJ Shadow will bring the next phase of his Action Adventure Tour to the UK and Ireland in July 2024, sandwiched between a run of summer European shows, before heading across North America in the fall.
