Edinburgh Summer Sessions is the sister event to the annual outdoor concert series Glasgow Summer Sessions.
In its inaugural year of 2018, the Edinburgh Summer Sessions took over the Ross Bandstand in front of the breathtaking backdrop of Edinburgh Castle. Among the first headliners were Tom Jones, Rag’n’Bone Man, Bastille, Paloma Faith, Kasabian, and The Shires, while 2019 saw Florence and the Machine, Primal Scream, Johnny Marr, Chvrches, Lewis Capaldi, James, The Courteeners, and Madness perform. Edinburgh Summer Sessions will return in August 2022 with headliners Lionel Richie, Michael Kiwanuka, Tom Jones, Travis, and Simple Minds.
