Eleanor McEvoy is an Irish singer-songwriter and musician hailing from Dublin.
Born in 1967, she is one of her country's most popular contemporary acts, and is best recognised for her track, Only A Woman's Heart, which featured as the title track of 'A Woman's Heart', a compilation album which would become the best-selling Irish record of all time. Releasing her self-titled debut in 1993, McEvoy has gone on to put out a string of successful albums and singles over the years, as well as work on dozens of projects with other artists too, including Midge Ure and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.
