Gruff Rhys is a psychedelic rock singer-songwriter and musician from Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire.
Starting his musical career in 1986 as a member of Ffa Coffi Pawb, he went on to form Super Furry Animals in 1993, and later Neon Neon in 2007. He released his debut solo album, 'Yr Atal Genhedlaeth' in 2005, going on to put out a further seven studio records to date. His most recent, 'Sadness Sets Me Free', arrived in 2024.
