Half Man Half Biscuit are an indie-rock and post-punk band from Merseyside.
Formed in 1984 by friends Nigel Blackwell and Neil Crossley, they quickly made a name for themselves and topped the UK indie chart with their 1985 debut album 'Back in the DHSS', which led to them performing at Glastonbury. The band split soon after but returned in 1990, going on to release a total of 15 albums to date. Their most recent, 'The Voltarol Years', arrived in 2022.
