Hippie Sabotage are an American hip hop production duo, hailing from Sacramento. Starting out in the early 2000s, the brothers created beats for the likes of rappers such as J. Leake and Yukmouth, later working with Chicago-based artists Calez of 2008ighties and Kami de Chukwu.
Developing and diversifying their sound, they worked on Alex Wiley’s Something To Say, and C Plus’s Callin’ Me. Their debut EP, ‘Vacants’ was released in 2013, followed by the singles White Tiger and Sunny. Their remix of Tove Lo’s single Stay High gained them worldwide attention with the song reaching the top ten in Australia, United Kingdom and Europe. Their debut material came in the form of a trio of EPs in 2014, which was followed by 'Vacants' in and 'The Sunny Album' the same year, 'Providence' in 2016, and 'Drifter' in 2017. Hippie Sabotage played a London and a Dublin show surrounding their European tour in March, and then headed out for a tour of Australia and New Zealand in August 2018.
