John Farnham Tickets, Tour Dates & Concerts 2024/2025 ♫Last Updated: 03 Sep 2018 4:34pm
John Farnham is an Australian/English singer-songwriter and musician born in Dagenham, and raised in Melbourne from the age of 10. First emerging as a member of teen bands The Mavericks and then Strings Unlimited, Farnham would impress enough to earn a manager of his own, and soon became a teen pop idol.
Eventually moving into a more adult contemporary style, Farnham would continue to sell hundreds of thousands of records through the '80s and onwards, becoming a massive hit with his 1986 album, 'Whispering Jack', which has since been certified an incredible 24x platinum. Cemented in Aussie music history, Farnham played the farewell show for the Qantas Credit Union Arena, formerly known as Sydney Entertainment Centre, in December 2015, having clocked up the most performances by an Australian artist at the venue. Having headlined the Red Hot Summer 2017 tour across Australia, where he was joined by James Reyne, Daryl Braithwaite, Shannon Noll, and Taxiride, John Farnham returned for the 2018 edition of the Red Hot Summer Tour, this time appearing alongside Daryl Braithwaite, Baby Animals, The Black Sorrows, and 1927. If that wasn't enough, he's heading out for four A Day on the Green shows in November/December, with Daryl Braithwaite, Richard Marx, Russell Morris and Bachelor Girl, and is taking on yet another Red Hot Summer Tour - this time in 2019 - alongside Daryl Braithwaite, Jon Stevens, Vanessa Amorosi, Thirsty Merc, and Dragon.
