Jonnie Common is a Scottish musician who made his musical debut in 2011 with his first LP, 'Deskjob' that featured extensive productions of 10 Scottish acts. Later the same year, he released a collection of his own songs, 'Master of None', which earned notable praise from BBC 6 Music DJs Marc Riley and Lauren Laverne.
Since, he's released 'Trapped in Amber' in 2014, and 'Kitchen Sync' in 2016. His support act credits include Tune Yards, Dutch Uncles and Ulrich Schnauss. Common is also known for his participation in wider creative projects. He's contributed to the first ever Glasgow-based Culture Hack Scotland, composing and performing new material over the 24 hour period. He is also scoring a piece of theatre by poet and playwright Ross Sutherland, which will be broadcast on BBC2 on Oct 7th and see Common performing the score on screen. 2017 saw the release of single Restless, which Jonnie Common will support with UK dates in October.
