Kneecap are an Irish language hip hop group from Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The trio have gained a cult following since their formation in 2017, well-known for their often controversial performances, and politically-charged, bilingual lyrics. They put out their debut album, '3CAG' in 2018, followed by 'Fine Art', in 2024 – the latter also coincided with the release of their a semi-biographical film, which came out that same year. Kneecap will support the new record with a UK and Ireland tour in autumn 2024, before topping off the year with a date in Newcastle and a huge hometown show at Belfast's SSE Arena in December. They'll also headline 2000 Trees Festival, Wide Awake Festival and Dublin's Fairview Park in summer 2025, after heading to Australia and New Zealand in March of that year.
