Lao Ra is a Columbian pop singer whose music encompasses elements of afrobeat, reggaeton, dancehall and Lao Ra’s own Bogota-via-East-London background.
Lao Ra premiered the new single Me Gusta (ft. Afro B) in September 2017 via Black Butter Records. The single followed her latest track Body Bounce (ft. Konshens), which saw Lao Ra surpass 10 million early streams. Lao Ra has previously opened for Zara Larsson and Joe Goddard, worked with Lully on a Gorillaz-curated collaboration at Demon Dayz festival and spent the summer of 2017 playing stages ranging from London’s Bussey Building to Benicassim. The Colombian vocalist will appear at a number of festivals this summer, including Nos Alive, Blue Dot and Kendal Calling. She'll then headline London's Pickle Factory in September.
