Damilola Afolabi, known as his moniker L.A.X is a Nigerian afrobeat recording artist.
L.A.X started out as a rapper as part of a trio called Flyboiz during high school, but went on to sign a major deal with Starboy Entertainment in 2013, after his critically acclaimed track Caro dropped. The single won him the Diaspora Artiste of The Year at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards. Since, he's dropped various singles and videos, and has been a featured artist for the likes of Juls and Lekaa, as well s collaborating on his own tracks with Wizkid, Olamide, Dremo and YCEE. L.A.X's debut LP is due for release in October 2018, which he will support with a stop at the O2 Academy Islington in November on the Rasaking Experience tour.
