Leigh Francis is a comedian from Leeds.
Best known for his racuous sketch shows on Channel 4 and ITV, he appeared in several comedy programmes before shooting to fame after creating Bo' Selecta in 2002. Featuring infamous parody characters such as Craig David, Mel B, The Bear and, of course, Avid Merrion, the show became an instant cult classic, with Francis going on to reach further heights of fame when he unveiled his next major persona: Keith Lemon. He achieved massive amounts of success as the host of Celebrtity Juice between 2008 and 2022, also presenting Through The Keyhole, Lemon La Vida Loca, The Keith Lemon Sketch Show and more, and has won three National Television Awards. Leigh Francis will discuss his life and career at a special, In Conversation hometown show at Leeds' Grand Theatre on December 14, 2024.
