Livewire Festival is a festival at Blackpool’s Headlands Arena over the August Bank Holiday Weekend. It launched in 2017 with headliners The Jacksons, The Hit Factory Live and Will Smith and Jazzy Jeff.
The 2018 edition of Livewire was meant to feature Boyz II Men, Matt Goss, Kenny Rogers and Mariah Carey, although it was cancelled due to an organiser's illness. Ms Lauryn Hill has been confirmed as the first headliner for 2019's Livewire Festival, and the event will also see West End Stars Ben Forster, John Owen-Jones, Kerry Ellis and Ruthie Henshall performing. Jason Manford, Alan Davies, Chris Ramsay and Mark Watson will take over the comedy stage over the weekend too.
