Terrible Production - Popcorn Munching drowned out the Orchestra!
Dublin Bord Gais Theatre on April 10 2023
Just attended this awful production at the Bord Gais Theatre in Dublin. Our optimum seats front and centre weren't good enough to allow us to hear the music over the sound of those around us munching popcorn and gulping down fizzy drinks. "Feel the music and the atmosphere?"... not a chance. The "Continuity Announcer" obviously couldn't hear the performance either as he kept announcing songs that had already been played and announced in the interval after it had already taken place. Maestro, soundman and continuity... take up a day job please. Don't waste €60 on this rubbish.
