Lulu is a singer-songwriter, actress and television personality from Glasgow, Scotland.
Recognised the world over for tracks like Shout, To Sir With Love, her Eurovision Song Contest-winning Boom Bang-a-Bang, and for providing the theme to James Bond: Man With The Golden Gun. First making a name for herself at just 12-years-old, she became the singer for a band called The Bellrocks, who performed locally every Saturday night. She has put out 15 studio albums to date, with the most recent being 'Making Life Rhyme' in 2015, as well as countless more live and compilation records. Outstanding performance would love to see Lulu again! Inspiring!
Northampton Royal and Derngate on March 9 2016
I have been to the Royal and Derngate many times in the past. This was one of the rare times that an energy was created where people wanted to join in sing along and get up and dance.
There was also a great contrast between Lulu and her guest performers The Military Wives. The song they performed together "Cry" certainly touched most of us in the theatre.
