Formed in 1981, the band have released 10 albums to date, including their 1983 debut ‘Kill 'Em All’, ‘Master of Puppets’ in 1986, and their latest LP, 2023's ‘72 Seasons’. They have won numerous Grammy Awards and #1 records, as well as having been listed as the seventh biggest selling artist in US recording history. Breathtaking! A dream come true. utter adoration!
Leeds Leeds festival on August 30 2015
As Metallica enter the stage and the scream of the crowd ignites, I tip toe above men twice my height and extend my neck as though I'm inspector gadget. I want to see them, I can't believe this is happening, all my dreams come true as my knees shake, my palms clam up and my heart races!
My very first show, it's everything I hoped for, I lift up the horns and begin to rock my braided head off, I could die right now are the words I mouth to my best girlfriend, she says you should of worn your sports bra and we giggle as we jump in time to the music!
