Metric are an indie rock band from Toronto, Canada.
Formed in 1998, the band have released nine albums to date, with the most recent being 2022's 'Formentera'. In 2023, they released 'Formentera II', a sequel and companion piece to 'Formentera'. Their efforts have earned them five Juno Awards, among other honours. Metric will celebrate their 2009 album 'Fantasies' with shows in Ottawa, Quebec City, Montreal and Toronto in June 2025.
