Becoming interested in the arts at a young age, his big break came when he landed a role in The Pirates of Penzance. Today, he has migrated into music and television also, consistently selling out venues on his own headline tours, as well as continuing to star in countless Broadway and West End shows and performing as one half of musical duo Michael Ball And Alfie Boe. He has released over 20 solo albums to date—the most recent being 2021's 'We Are More Than One'—with an additional 12 albums as part of a musical cast recording and four LPs with Alfie Boe, plus countless solo compilation records.
