Monty Don is a horticulturalist, broadcaster and writer from Iserlohn, Germany, but raised in Hampshire.
Best known for presenting the BBC series Gardeners' World, he first rose to fame hosting a frequent gardening segment on ITV's This Morning, eventually beginning to appear in more and more programmes across the UK's biggest channels. Today, he has hosted many of his own gardening shows and published over 25 books, and was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2018 for services to horticulture, broadcasting and charity. Monty Don will bring his new show, An Audience with Monty Don, to venues across the UK and Ireland in November/December 2024, following a headline show as part of Kew The Music in July.
