My Ruin is an American alternative metal outfit hailing from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 1999, the band consists of a husband and wife duo - Tairrie B Murphy on vocals and her man Mick Murphy, who supplies guitars, bass, and drums - alongside an ever-changing line-up of backing musicians.
Known for their blend of passionate vocals and heartfelt lyrics with heavy metal riffs and driving percussion, My Ruin have amassed a cult following worldwide which beats strongest here in the UK.
