Don't wait too long - we did.
Liverpool Philharmonic on September 23 2023
The music was very polished but there was over an hour of songs that the audience didn't know. He finally got everyone singing and on their feet dancing only to kill the encore with yet another song that no one knew and the audience sat down quiet and still once again. Disappointing and a bit boring. What a shame.

Class class class so talented so good
Glasgow Royal concert hall on January 10 2014
Have been to probably every gig Paul and the band have done over the years. Had the pleasure of meeting Paul at Heathrow Airport when we were both stuck because of fog, charming guy - made my year. Took time to talk to me, would like to sell him a suit that fits!

Brilliant every song from beginning to end
Aylesbury The Waterside on December 1 2013
We saw Paul at The Waterside Aylesbury 1st December, we went with some trepidation as we had only been once to this new theatre and saw Bill Wyman in concert and were sadly disappointed with the sound and atmosphere.
What a difference when Paul and his incredible band walk on to the stage, no introduction needed; then I was hit with the first beat of the first song and transformed right up until the last encore, a total roller coaster of emotions. Every individual song portrayed so tuneful, tasteful and professionally produced. The sound balance and lighting absolutely spot on. I bought 4 CDs on the night and they have been played constantly ever since and I keep having to stop what I'm doing to just listen. I have appreciated Paul for some years and saw him once a few years ago, however seeing him this time made me realize what a superb musician, song writer and singer he really is, as a gigging musician myself I just wish I had half the ability to put so much emotion into a song. I will be buying tickets to see him again later on his tour.

emotional inspiring wonderful concert
York barbican on November 30 -0001
I saw him at York Barbican on Sat 23rd November, I wasn't going to go as just got over death of my mam, but as all paid for I sat with tears in my eyes all the way through, amazing songs from the heart. What a performer, and wow the new stuff like the old Brenda Lee records and even Ray Charles. Fabulous.
