Paul Heaton is an indie-pop singer-songwriter from Merseyside.

Having enjoyed a number of successful years as a member of The Housemartins and Beautiful South, the bands eventually parted ways as he embarked on a solo career. He released four albums before reuniting with bandmate Jacqui Abbott in 2014, with the duo going on tour together performing Beautiful South classics, and also songs from Heaton's days as frontman of The Housemartins.

They duo put out five studio records under the Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott moniker, with Abbott announcing she would be taking a break from the project in 2023, due to health concerns.

His latest solo album, 'The Mighty Several', arrived in 2024.

Paul Heaton will embark on a UK tour in November and December 2024, with singer-songwriter Rianne Downey providing guest vocals. In 2025, they'll head to Belfast and Dublin in March ahead of a huge show at Sheffield's Bramall Lane in May, then heading out for a string of summer UK dates also.
