Pelican is an American post-metal band from Illinois, currently consisting of Trevor de Brauw, Bryan Herweg, Larry Herweg and Dallas Thomas, who replaced Laurent Schroeder-Lebec.
Formed in 2001, they released their debut album, ‘Australasia’, in 2003, which they followed with a further four albums, including 2013’s ‘Forever Becoming’, as well as a live album, ‘Arktika (Live From Russia)’ released in 2014. Their last release was 2015’s EP, ‘The Cliff’. Pelican have announced three UK shows for May 2016 and as well as making an appearance at Desertfest the same month.
