Pharrell Williams is an American rapper, singer-songwriter and producer from Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Starting his music career in 1992, as a member of the production duo, The Neptunes, he later went on to form N*E*R*D, releasing four albums; ‘In Search Of…’ in 2002, ‘Fly or Die’ in 2004, ‘Seeing Sounds’ in 2008 and ‘Nothing’ in 2010. He released his debut solo album, ‘In My Mind’, in 2006, which reached #3 in the Billboard Hot 200. In 2013 he featured on Daft Punk's song Get Lucky, which hit #1 in the UK Singles Chart, he also featured on Robin Thicke’s single Blurred Lines, which Williams wrote and produced, which also hit #1 in the chart. His single, ‘Happy’, gave him his third #1 single of that year. He released his second solo album, ‘Girl’, in 2014, which hit #1 in the UK Albums Chart.

He has headlined his own shows and tours across the world, including hitting Dublin’s Marlay Park alongside Kanye West, London and Birmingham for Wireless Festival, and arenas in Manchester and London, Croke Park with The Script, Leeds' First Direct Arena and Isle of Wight Festival too.
