Ricchi e Poveri, which translates to The Rich And The Poor, are an Italian pop group that formed in Genoa in 1967.
Originally a quartet of singers; Angela Brambati, Angelo Sotgiu, Franco Gatti and Marina Occhiena, in 1981 Occhiena left the group to persue a solo career, and in 2016 Gatti retired at the age of 74, later passing away at the age of 80 in 2022. Active since the late 1960s, they have sold over 20 million records, with their latest full-length coming in the form of 2021's 'ReuniON'.
