Ride are a shoegaze band from Oxford.

Formed in 1988, the band released their debut album, ‘Nowhere’, in 1990, putting out a further three studio records before their split in 1996.

After an 18-year break, they announced their return in 2014, dropping new music in the shape of 'Weather Diaries' three years later. They have continued to go strong ever since, with a discography now totalling seven full-length records, the latest being 2024's 'Interplay'.

Ride are set to tour the UK and Ireland in September 2024, before headlining a one-off London show as part of Sonic Cathedral's 20th anniversary celebrations in October. They also have dates in Australia and New Zealand lined up for August of that year, as well as US shows in December.
