Becoming a became a familiar face on the television comedy circuit throughout the 1980s and '90s, she has enjoyed great critical and commercial success via an abundance of writing, broadcasting and acting projects over the past few decades. In recent years, she is particularly well-known for co-presenting The Great British Bake Off between 2017 and 2019. She also took over as the host of comedy show QI in 2016. Sandi Toksvig will take over the Royal Albert Hall in December 2024 with her special Christmas show, Sandi Claus is Coming to Town.
