Savages are a British post-punk band from London, consisting of former John & Jehn singer Jehnny Beth, real name Camille Berthomier, guitarist Gemma Thompson, bass-player Ayse Hassan, and Fay Milton.
Formed in 2011, the band released their debut album, ‘Silence Yourself’ on Matador Records in 2013 and were nominated for the BBC Sound of 2013. Known for their unique artistic ideas, they toured with Japanese art rock band Bo Ningen in 2014, performing Words To The Blind, a sonic poem, where both bands played at the same time. The band released their second album, ‘Adore Life’, in January 2016. The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK, USA, Australia and Europe, and have performed at festivals such as Coachella and Latitude.
