Seu Jorge is a singer-songwriter from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Starting his music career in 1998, he was a member of the band Farofa Carioca, before releasing his debut solo album 'Samba Esporte Fino' in 2001, then gaining a wider notoriety after starring in the film City Of God in 2002, for which he contributed Portuguese cover versions of David Bowie songs.
