Sex Pistols are a punk band from London.

Formed in 1975, the band's original line-up consisted of Johnny Rotten, Steve Jones, Paul Cook, Glen Matlock and Sid Vicious and, despite only being together for two-and-a-half years, the band are one of the most influential acts of all time, in both music and popular culture. Widely regarded as the catalyst for the UK's enormous punk movement in the 1970s, they have briefly reunited several times over the years, and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 2006.

They released their debut (and only) album 'Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols' in 1977, which contained iconic tracks such as God Save The Queen and Anarchy In The UK, and was inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame in 2015.

In August 2024, the band began playing live shows again, with Gallows and ...& The Rattlesnakes frontman Frank Carter stepping in for vocal duties.

Sex Pistols & Frank Carter will join forces once more, playing 'Never Mind The Bollocks' in full at the Margate Summer Series, Boomtown Fair and Glasgow Summer Sessions in summer 2025, following an Australian trek that April. They'll headline Retro C Trop festival in France that June, and the UK's Beautiful Days Festival in August.
