Shitfaced Shakespeare is a unique stage show combining high-brow mix Elizabethan drama with no-holds-barred drunken antics.
Featuring a selection of the world’s best classically-trained Shakespearean actors, one member of the cast is selected to drink for four hours prior to the show opening. This, however, leaves the rest of the (sober) cast with the challenge of improvising round their drunk castmate, who will certainly not be acting to script! Expect explicit language, nudity, wrestling and probably some terrible singing. Shitfaced Shakespeare will take on A Midsummer Night's Dream when it opens at London's Leicester Square Theatre in July 2024, running until September.
