Shreya Ghoshal is a playback singer from Berhampore, India.
She began formal training in classic music at just six years old, eventually going on to win the reality talent show Sa Re Ga Ma, which gained her a huge amount of attention in Bollywood. She made her playback singing debut on romantic drama Devdas in 2022, earning her her first National Film Award among many other honours. Her success has extended far beyond her native country too, with the US state of Ohio declaring June 26, 2010 as Shreya Ghoshal Day, honoured by the UK's House of Commons and is the first Indian singer to have her wax figure displayed in Madame Tussauds. The living legend and nightingale of all times!!!

First time when I heard her song munbe vaa I just went mad of her voice. There is some sort of magic in her voice. No words to describe her talent. She is just extra ordinary. Nightingale of all times. Hats off to her. She's very simple down to earth woman. It's going to be my first time going for her concert this time as I couldn't afford before. Shreya Ghoshal is one of the best singers in Bollywood. She is my favourite singer. She sang all types of songs and is a versatile singer also, one of my favourites is 'chikni chamali'... I like all her songs but this is my favourite song. Shreya Ghoshal is very sweet and beautiful also, last time she came to London and I saw her concert, it was amazing.
