Slipknot are a metal band from Des Moines, Iowa.
Famed for their enigmatic masks and explosive live shows, they have led the scene to rejuvenated levels of popularity since releasing their self-titled debut in 1999, and earned a reputation as one of the most influential bands in rock and metal. The group have put out six records since then, including 2014's '.5: The Gray Chapter', which was the band's first album not to feature original member Paul Gray, who passed away in 2010. Their most recent serving comes in the shape of 'The End, So Far', which was released in 2022. Slipknot will celebrate their 25th anniversary with a UK and European tour in December 2024. They'll also headline a number of Europe's rock and metal festivals in summer 2025, as well as playing some headline dates in Germany, Italy and France in June.
