Strange Tenants are an Australian ska and roots outfit that formed back in 1981. It currently consists of Bruce 'Boots' Hearn, 'Evil' Ian Hearn, Chris 'The Artful Dodger' Rogers, John 'The Wad' Holmes, Jeff 'Bongo I Dread' Denny, Robert 'Bobby Dazzler' Calvert, Alex 'Big Al' Hearn, and Daniel 'Guitar Slinger' Holmes, though the full line-up of people who’ve played with ST goes on for days!
Considered one of the pioneers of the ska and reggae 1980's Australian alternative music scene, they continue to write, record, and perform to this day.
