The Black Dahlia Murder are a melodic death metal band from Waterford, Michigan.
Formed in 2001, they dropped their debut album ‘Unhallowed’ two years later. They have since gone on to become one of the most influential modern bands of their genre, putting out a further eight albums to date. The most recent, 'Verminous', arrived in 2020. On May 11, 2022, the band announced that frontman Trevor Strnad had died, with the band playing a tribute concert in his memory the following September.
