Formed in 1988, the band's 1990 debut LP, ‘Some Friendly’ became an instant hit and consequently paved the way for a further 12 successful albums. Their latest full-length studio effort came in the form of 2017's 'Different Days'. The compilation record 'A Head Full of Ideas: The Best of Charlatans' followed in 2021. In the past, they have toured the UK and Europe extensively, and have appeared at festivals such as Glastonbury, and Reading and Leeds.
