The Midnight are a synthwave band based in Los Angeles, California.
Made up of Tyler Lyle and Tim McEwan, who met at a writing workshop, the band was formed in 2012 after the pair were inspired by the retro synth sound of the movie score for Drive. They have released five albums to date, with the most recent being 'Heroes' in 2022. The Midnight will play a handful of UK shows around their headline slot at Glasgow's Summer Nights concert series in July 2024, ahead of a co-headline North American tour with Chromeo in the fall.
