Twisted Wheel are an indie rock band from Manchester. Formed in 2007 by guitarist and singer Jonny Brown and bassist Rick Lees, later joined by drummer Adam Clarke, the band are named after a lyric in a Paul Weller song.
The band gained a following among old mods and punks as well as a younger generation. They released their self-titled debut album in 2009, and followed it up with a second, 'Do It Again' in 2012, before disbanding in 2014. Johnny Brown has since embarked on a solo acoustic tour. They reformed in 2018. Twisted Wheel will bring their Nomad Hat Tour around the UK and Ireland throughout 2019.
