UB40 are a pop and reggae act from Birmingham.

The band have released 21 studio albums to date, including their 1990 debut ’Signing Off’, which hit #2 on the UK's Official Album Chart, and their notable fourth LP, ‘Labour of Love’, which hit the top spot in 1983 and included the hit single Red Red Wine. The band put out their latest album, 'Bigga Baggariddim', in 2021.

The band have faced a series of line-up changes throughout their career. Among them are frontman Ali Campbell, keyboardist Mickey Virtue and rapper Astro, who all departed the band between 2008 and 2013, going on to form the group UB40 With Ali Campbell And Astro. Astro and their longtime saxophonist Brian Travers both sadly passed away in 2021.
