Wardruna are a dark folk band from Bergen, Norway.
Formed in 2003, the group are well-known for their music based on stories and themes from Norse mythology and culture, using traditional instruments such as deer-hide frame drums, flutes, kraviklyra, tagelharpe, mouth harp, goat horn and lur. They have put out five studio albums to date, with the latest being 'Kvitravn' in 2021. Wardruna will bring their World Tour to the UK and Ireland in March 2025. The extensive trek begins with a one-off show at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheater in October 2024, before heading to Europe in November and onwards to Australia in January 2025 and wrapping up with a string of Norwegian dates in the spring.
