Whitechapel are an American deathcore band from Knoxville, Tennessee, consisting of Phil Bozeman, Ben Savage, Gabe Crisp, Ben Harclerode, Alex Wade and Zach Householder.
Formed in 2006, the band released their debut album, ‘The Somatic Defilement’ in 2007 Via Candlelight Records, before signing with Metal Blade Records and releasing their second album, ‘This Is Exile’ in 2008. The band’s third album, ‘A New Era of Corruption’ was released in 2010, with their self-titled album coming out in 2012, but it was their fifth album, ‘Our Endless War’, released in 2014, that pushed them to new heights. The band released their latest album, ‘The Valley’, in 2019. Whitechapel have cancelled their spring 2020 UK tour dates due to the coronavirus pandemic.
