Grandson, real name Jordan Benjamin, is an alt-hip hop musician from Englewood, New Jersey, but raised in Toronto, Canada.
He began releasing music under the Grandson moniker in 2015, putting out his debut album, 'Death Of An Optimist', in 2020. He has since gone on to collaborate with the likes of Mike Shinoda, Kesha, Travis Barker, KennyHoopla, Jessie Reyez, Steve Aoki and Oliver Tree, as well as landing support slots on tour with Hobo Johnson, Nothing But Thieves and Smashing Pumpkins. His second album, 'I Love You, I'm Trying', arrived in May 2023. Grandson will support his new album with a world tour of the same name, which will head to Australia and New Zealand in January and February 2024, following North American, UK and European dates in 2023.
