Icon For Hire are a Nashville based band blending hard rock, hip-hop, electronica and pop into an anthemic swirl of both melody and muscle. Since forming in 2007, the duo of singer Ariel Bloomer and guitarist Shawn Jumphave amassed a legion of followers who have connected with not only the band’s genre-bending sound, but also their honesty.
Their debut record, 'Scripted', dropped in 2011, and was followed in 2013 by a self titled effort. Their third album, 2016's 'You Can't Kill Us', was funded by fans through Kickstarter on a campaign that raised $127, 200 - making it one of the year’s highest-raising music campaigns. Icon For Hire have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK and Europe. Icon For Hire have announced a UK tour in June 2019 on the run up to their set at Download Festival.
