Midas Touch is an British post-rock band formed in Edinburgh but now based in Manchester. Forming in 2009, the band consists of vocalist, guitar and synth player Elizabeth Heaton, guitarist and piano player, Rowan Burn, drummer Steven Pellatt and Chris Holland on bass.
The band self-released their debut EP ‘Century’ in 2009, their debut LP ‘Eleven. Return and Revert’, followed in 2010 on Monotreme. 2012 saw the release of the EP, ‘As Our Blood Separates’, and the following year the band’s second album, ‘Wilderness’ was released. They have supported 65daysofstatic, MONO, Frightened Rabbit, Jeniferever and Tides From Nebula, as well as their own headline tour. The band’s third album The Menagerie Inside was released in September, and you can hear it live when they play a run of UK shows in October 2015.
