Miranda Hart is a comedian, writer and actress from Torquay.
Starting her career writing and acting in small roles for a number of British sitcoms—including French & Saunders, Absolutely Fabulous, The Vicar of Dibley and Smack the Pony—she began to gain attention after landing a part in Not Going Out. Initially intended as another very small role, her performance impressed producers so much that she was written into the show as a series regular, where she played Lee and Kate's cleaner, Barbara. A gallopping display of such fun
Plymouth Pavillion on March 5 2014
This was Miranda at her best. She involved everyone in the audience and had them all crying with laughter. What talent to be able to give everyone such a good evening through everyday humour without smutt and bad language. Well just a couple of swear words, but the story needed it just this once!
