Quasi are an indie band from Portland, Oregon.
Formed in 1993, the band consists of Sam Coomes and Janet Weiss, having previously been a trio in the 2000s. They have released nine studio albums to date, with the most recent being 'Mole City' in 2013. They are due to drop their tenth record, 'Breaking The Balls Of History', in February 2023. Both members of the band are also recognised for their other projects — particularly Weiss, who was the drummer for Sleater-Kinney. Quasi will support their new record with a spring European tour that will head across the UK and Ireland in April and May 2023.
