Soul II Soul are a soul and R&B group from London, led by founding member Jazzie B alongside Caron Wheeler and Charlotte Kelly.
Formed in 1988, the band released their debut LP, ‘Club Classics Vol. One’, in 1989, which hit #1 on the UK's Official Albums Chart and featured the hit single Back to Life (However Do You Want Me). The band released a further four albums before disbanding in 1997 and reforming ten years later. They have continued to tour extensively ever since, however they have not released music since 1997's 'Time For Change'. The band have been awarded some of the highest honours in music through their career, including two Grammys and three Soul Train Music Awards.
