Unida are an American stoner rock outfit hailing from California. Formed in 1998 out of the ashes of Kyuss and Slo Burn, it currently features frontman John Garcia, guitarist Arthur Seay, and drummer Miguel Cancino.
Splitting an EP with Dozer back in the day, they went on to release two records and record another, which failed to come out before their demise in 2003 but eventually found its way on to the Internet. Following their headline set at Desert Fest last year and ahead of an updated version of their 1999 album ‘Coping With The Urban Coyote’, Unida have announced a run of festival and headline shows across the UK and Europe this summer - including a stop in London.
