YACHT is an electronica indie pop duo, from Oregon, USA, consisting of multimedia artists, Jona Bechtolt and Claire Evans.
That band begun in 2002, as a solo project for Bechtolt, and he released three albums, ‘Super Warren MMIV’, ‘Mega’, and ‘I Believe In You. Your Magic Is Real’. Claire Evans joined in 2009, after the release of the album, ‘See Mystery Lights’. In 2010, YACHT toured as a full band with Bobby Birdman, and Jeffrey Jerusalem, and the following year they released the album, ‘Shangri-La’. The band’s live performances often include dancing ,as well as elaborate PowerPoint presentations. Their new album, ‘I Thought The Future Would Be Cooler’, will be released in late 2015 on Downtown Records. You can catch the band playing live in Manchester and London in November 2015.
